You are escaping to one of the most beautiful, unspoilt areas of England...

Hidden on a remote tract of the Lizard peninsula near Kennack Sands, 'Wild Acres' is a five bedroom detached property, just yards from the beach and with splendid 180 degree sea views. Wild Acres is made up of 2 properties, Wild Acres Studio is located 50 yards from the main Wild Acres Cottage and shares the same access road. Although the properties are separate, they can be used in conjunction for larger parties of up to 14 people.

The rambling and exotically wild garden is great for children to discover, with private gated access to the footpath, golden sands and clear rock pools.

Access to Wild Acres by land is exclusively over a wildly rough lane over a mile in length that leads directly to the cottage. We do recommend 4X4 vehicles - the lane is not suitable for vehicles with low ground clearance.

Parking is plentiful, if slightly wild. Wild Escapes access by air and sea can be arranged. The large beach is also part of the Tregothnan Estate, all the way to low water mark.

Wild and uncultivated may be hard to live with at home but managed as a 'special effect' - is wonderful to holiday to. It is said that a house nestled among airy vegetation and untamed grass up to the walls has inspired poets- curiously difficult to deliberately achieve.

Wild Escapes may render you feral. However, you will appreciate undomesticated pleasures that you may not previously know existed. Natural wonders are put to the fore of your stay, the views, sounds and air that will revitalise are, well, best left wild.
Wild Escapes may seem like an escape back in time for older guests, it’s certainly an escape from the usual blend of utilities. However, you may revel in some of the features in some properties, IPods where possible, for example. more interior views

Wild Escapes are designed to recharge you for your return, if you must, to tame routine, or 'captivity'.

Please note that Wild Acres is discreetly available now. This is not the official opening. Wild Escapes is the range of accommodation exclusively available from Tregothnan and designed as the ultimate escape from modern pressures. Wild Acres does have electricity (Some Wild Escapes do not have electricity or other 'essentials' of modern living). However, a fabulous location is assured, some great memories will be formed and you will quite possibly have the experience of a lifetime. The original oils displayed in wild Escapes are by an anonymous 'escape artist', some may be available on request.
Open fires are available from 16th October.
A cook and any other service may be arranged on request.
